For several hours, dozens of students from high school Aleks Buda, members of
Aleance Franceze in Tirana and also members of the association Ex-students in France observed the Saturn and the Moon.
In the building B of Faculty of Natural Sciences, two poles of interesting
scientific discussion has been created: in the roof, where the telescope showed Saturns rings; in the
hall of the third floor around a astrophotos exposition, gift of French Embassy in Tirana.

Constallations Night in Dajt.
On Thursday of 11th
June, about 50 young people of Tirana, mostly from the physics branch of Faculty
of Natural Sciences, Tirana University, have undertaken a several hours
excursion in Dajti Mountain for observing the stars of a spotless portion of
night sky. With sky maps on hands and small observation instruments on eyes,
they analyzed carefully constellations of Gemini, Leo, Ursa Major, Ursa Minor,
Corona Borealis, Virgo, Scorpions, Bootes, Hercules, Draco and Lyra. The
orientation in the spring sky is very simple with Arcturus, Regulus and Spica,
but also with Vega, Deneb, Altair, Antares and always with Polaris.
